Welcome to Mulindi One Love Project Website MULINDI JAPAN ONE LOVE PROJECT is a non-profit organization, dedicated to bring mobility and independence to people with disabilities.
In the past, all Rwandans lived together, sharing one culture and one language. However, at the end of 19th Century, Rwandan history was changed by European colonists and the nations were divided into three different ethnic groups. People started to kill each other since 1959, and there was an unspeakable genocide in 1994.
Due to the genocide in 1994, more than 1,000,000 innocent people were killed, and many people became disabled because of landmines, cut off their body by machete, as well as medical malpractice and accident. There are an estimated 800,000 people in Rwanda today who are disabled.
